Fire probabilistic safety assessment of control room in TRIGA PUSPATI research reactor

Abstract An internal Fire Probabilistic Safety Assessment (FPSA) study was conducted in the control room of TRIGA PUSPATI (RTP) research reactor. This aims to determine likelihood a fire occurring RTP and probability after an accident loss instrumentation (LOIC) core damage frequency (CDF) value. The quantification results CDF are compared between LOIC with fire-induced (LOIC-F) without (LOIC). A methodical strategy identify potential hazards that includes precise identification design area, size any opening compartments, location electrical cabinets suppression systems, as well placement safety-related equipment applied. Included is Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), which determines failure modes designates repercussions for each scenario. will contribute on providing essential information status RTP’s insight identifying risk scenario may occur including investigation current protection system sufficiency. In addition, end state consequences also presented. result this can be beneficial creating awareness management reactor operators case RTP.
